We originally created our DW account a year or two ago, to post once in a blue moon in several communities. We’ve recently started actually posting on our own account, and a lot more often.
We expect to keep this up. Maybe not the several-times-a-week posting with Artfight, OC and HowlCon coming up, but posting our thoughts here in general.
This is not to say we are completely leaving tumblr. We wake up every day excited to write image descriptions for community-made artwork to Alterhuman Art afterall. And reblogging others' work on tumblr in general is a great way to keep a copy of the post around, even if the original user deletes.
However, we don’t plan to post our original journal entries/essays there. Or, if we do, it will be well after we’ve already posted it here on DW and our personal website.
We noticed, even though we wanted to write, that thinking about posting them on tumblr was holding us back. But, we didn’t have the same mental resistance when thinking about posting them here. The vibes are better: longer-form posts, slower speed, and a lot less in-fighting. DW has been a lot less intimidating to post our thoughts to.
Oh, and we’ll definitely still be on tumblr to post project updates for reach (like with HowlCon and our Draconity community zine). If, for some reason, you were interested in our behind-the-scenes thoughts and happenings, DW would be the place to watch for them!
Our comic will definitely still be continued and uploaded to tumblr, but maybe we’ll take the time to write more in-depth thoughts with the comic strips here? (We already have one in the works as we speak.)
So, basically the plan for our DW is:
Atm we have no plans to lock any of our posts behind the access wall. If you’ve managed to find our blog despite our complete lack of advertisement, you can see everything.

So, basically the plan for our DW is:
- Journal entries/essays about our personal nonhumanity and plurality experiences
- Behind-the-scenes stuff on our alterhuman community related projects
- Updates on what we’ve recently read and archived to the Alterhuman Archive
- Not sure if we want to talk about IRL stuff? Maybe every once in a blue moon if we think of something we’re comfortable sharing?
